Hunterdon County Y members give back to the community--nj.com

Hunterdon County YMCA members have rallied to support the hungry in the community. In July and August, more than 100 members of the Y and their friends volunteered at America's Grow-a-Row, a local non-profit organization that provides free, fresh produce to those in need throughout New Jersey.

Swimming helps autistic teen

LOUISVILLE— The YMCA of Greater Louisville has set the Guinness World Record for "most people hopping on one leg simultaneously." The record was set on Sunday, April 26, with 674 people at Slugger Field during the YMCA's 9th annual Healthy Kids Day celebration. Guinness officially confirmed the record this month.

We need to not only accept our bodies, but celebrate them. We need to commend it all, flaws and perfections included.

While speaking through encouragement during cool down, our instructor stated, “Celebrate your body.” The second she said that, it floated in my head all day long. more
