We are seeking a Branch Director to provide cause-driven leadership for the San Benito YMCA. We are seeking an experienced, results-oriented leader to provide an outstanding member experience where people are connected and supported in order to expand membership and enhance program services. The Branch Director will lead volunteers to continue our successful annual giving campaign. This position will work within a 3 person branch leadership team and a committed group of local volunteers to increase community visibility, involvement and impact.
Under the direction of the District Executive Director and consistent with the mission of the Central Coast YMCA, the San Benito YMCA Branch Director is responsible for the direct administration and operation of the family center located in Hollister California and in accordance with the general policies of the Association. This position will lead the operations for an 8,000 square foot storefront facility with 600+ membership units and a budget size of $1.2 million. Staff is comprised of 2 full time and approximately 50 part time employees. Incumbent must have a bachelor's degree in business, fitness or related field. Proven experience with developing and managing budgets and building communities are definite pluses. This Y is positioned for significant growth with opportunity for future expansion.

Must have a 4 year degree from an accredited college or university or have at least 5 years management experience, YMCA Organizational Leader certification is a plus.
He/she will work to build and maintain relationships within the community through interactions with schools, churches, home owners associations and civic organizations.
He/she will maintain and build programs and services that ensure membership development and help the Y create a strong presence in the community.
The Center Director will be responsible for center staff recruitment and development, for achieving center operating budget projections, and for developing critical relationships in the community. This position will recruit, develop and build a strong local advisory committee, and is responsible for working with volunteers to achieve a successful annual support campaign.
He/she is responsible for the overall management of the facilities, including cleanliness and safety.
He/she is responsible for the development and cultivation of staff teams, the development of the annual marketing plan, and for membership growth and retention.
The human relations aspect of this position is important. The incumbent must interpret the goals and objectives of both staff and volunteers at the center level, and work closely with them toward goal achievement.
